I'm Yulia Smith and interior design was a natural calling for me, combining my passion for art, travel, photography and fashion. After graduating, I took some time to travel and found myself in the Middle East where I was exposed to new and exciting art forms. I was fascinated with how art could be used to both inspire and highlight interior design and enjoyed working with one of the UAE’s largest property developers.

I met my husband, Justin, in Dubai and together we created ‘London Design’ which evolved into a highly successful interior design partnership, working on both residential and commercial projects. The UAE was a melting pot of different cultures and I enjoyed working with people from all over the world, adapting interiors to reflect their personalities and backgrounds in a very unique way.

On one of our many trips back to the UK, we fell in love with a cottage in the Cotswolds and renovations began, to restyle it into a comfortable yet chic holiday home. I mastered the challenge of managing a project from afar which enabled us to add another element to our interior design business and this has proved to be very convenient and efficient for many of our loyal customers all over the globe.

Designing the cottage was a dream come true, preserving traditional country elements, blended with more contemporary trends and when we relocated back to the UK a few years ago I enjoyed transforming ‘Rectory Cottage’ into a family home by adding more personal touches and incorporating photography and accessories from our many travels that evoke beautiful memories.

‘Just Interiors’ is the culmination of all these years of international interior design experience and my on-going passion for interpreting clients visions in to reality and creating stylish, timeless spaces that are both unique and personal.
